Primary Concepts Launches Student Art Contest

News
Contest winners’ art will become the front covers of Primary Concepts’ catalogs

Primary Concepts, producer of PreK-3 products and curriculum, is promoting its annual student art contest.  Each year the company features student art on the front of its catalogs that are seen by thousands of educators around the country. Educators or parents who submit winning entries will receive a gift card redeemable for up to $500 of Primary Concepts materials, while winning students receive $50.

The contest asks educators and parents to pick student art, from students ages 4 – 12, that they wish to submit and email a picture of that art to artcontest@primaryconcepts.com.  Submissions should include the educator’s name and school, as well as the artist’s first name, last name initial and age. Deadline for submissions is October 10, 2017 and winners will be notified by November 1, 2017.  Primary Concepts chooses two winners each year.

“Students of all abilities have such amazing talents,” said Jim Whitney, president of Primary Concepts. “We love receiving this art and are always amazed by how interesting it is. I only wish we had the opportunity to pick more than two!”

Once winners are chosen, the submitter is required to send the actual art or a high resolution image of the art and facilitate the signing of a release form. Full contest rules can be found at: http://pmc.cuesta.com/articles/Student_Art_Contest_Rules.pdf
