Education is the foundation of success and too often students are left frustrated and without a place to turn. Tutor Pursuit was created to connect students with qualified tutors in their area. The Tutor Pursuit team is on a mission to ensure that all students get the proper academic support to reach their goals.
Students are balancing many things; preparing for tests, getting homework done, maintaining a social life and much more. In order to receive extra help they are often restricted to a schools extra help schedule. TutorPursuit changes that. TutorPursuits' goal is to find a reputable tutor in a student’s local area who will fit within their schedule and at an affordable price.
For a teacher TutorPursuit helps to bring in additional income, while doing what they love in their local area. Over summer breaks many teachers must find jobs unrelated to education; TutorPursuits' goal is to help them maintain a healthy income.

Tutor Pursuit is an app that allows students to search for tutors in their area according to grade level, price and subject.

Students can search any subject area he/she needs help in, ranging from early childhood to calculus.
What is the pricing model?
The app will always be free for students/teachers to create a profile and make appointments. The first six months are free for tutors then there is a six-month subscription for $84 or a twelve-month subscription for $144.
What makes Tutor Pursuit unique?
The app is a user-friendly platform for teachers and students to connect, according to level, subject and price range. We do not take any percentage of the tutors income and appointments can be made right on the app.
What about security?
Tutor Pursuit has an internal messaging feature and tutors undergo background checks and are reviewed on the app to ensure safety.
