Often overlooked by school leaders, help desks and workflow are a critical part of smooth-running operations.  LeiLani Cauthen met with Mark Horne, Chief Revenue Officer at Incident IQ at ISTE to discuss what’s new from them as leaders in the industry.

Horne mentioned the focus is on giving time back to teachers and administrators. He mentioned that the challenge is that education and how kids learn today has fundamentally changed.  Also, teachers have had an opportunity to rework lesson plans to utilize technology – so the embedding of tech is very deep in learning now.  

Horne also mentioned that the surge during the pandemic really caused such a rapid change that it created a significant shift in implementation and having to think through policy, etc., such that the need for a company like Incident IQ became very important for schools of all sizes, even the smallest.
