Showbie is an easy-to-use classroom management platform. It helps teachers bring their classroom together through one easy-to-use app. Unlike sometimes complicated, burdensome learning management systems that require training and time to implement, teachers can start using Showbie’s platform within minutes. More than 700 school districts and 28,500 teachers are already using Showbie to manage their classrooms, provide timely feedback, and increase student and family engagement.

What does it help with?
It combines all of the essential tools for assginments, feedback, and communication. It is easy to set up, allowing teachers to focus on teaching and learning, not technology. Teachers can  share information about students’ progress with families to strengthen the home/school connection, and teachers can create a more engaged classroom community with group projects, peer reviews, and class discussions.

What grade and age range?  K-12

Is this core/supplemental/special needs/extracurricular/professional development or what?
Showbie is useful for any classroom, in any school, in any district. It does help with special needs, because teachers can easily assign specific assignments for students who require extra help, or set up a group of high achievers, for example, and send them more challenging assignments. The Groups feature makes it easy to communicate with fellow teachers about extracurricular activities (or any other student news). There are various ways to provide feedback and assignments in Showbie depending on how students best articulate, so teachers can tailor to their individual needs. For example, if a student is more articulate verbally, a teacher can send feedback with Voice Notes.

What subject, topic, what standards is it mapped to?
Showbie works well for all topics and subjects, from learning a second language, to math, to art, to music. Showbie integrates with many of the apps teachers are already using. The Learning Counsel gained a link for the list of apps that work with Showbie.

What is the pricing model?
The cost for the tool is $179 USD per teacher. But most users of Showbie are part of a school-wide account, and the price decreases significantly when purchased that way.

What makes Showbie unique?
Its simplicity and extremely user-friendly UI. Showbie can be used in any classroom, for any subject, around the world. It’s currently available in 13 languages.

Teacher reviews:

“Showbie is the best app we have. It simplifies classroom workflow and is easy for teachers to use. Its intuitive design allows students as young as kindergarten to write, draw, or speak onto an activity and send it back to the teacher.”

Keith Madsen, Director of Technology, East Allen County Schools

“Students can easily stay in touch with multiple conversations and updates that are happening in their groups or classes all at once.”

Fredy Padovan, Exec. Director of Advancement and Technology, Immaculata La Salle High School

“When we started using Showbie with the students, we were all hooked! Students could turn in their work with ease and we no longer had to take multiple student books home in order to correct homework. I was able to correct homework while waiting for my daughter at her dance lessons!”
