CoderZ is a powerful, online platform that teaches students valuable STEM skills such as coding, robotics and physical computing

App of the Week

CoderZ is an innovative and fun learning platform for students worldwide to engage in robotics, computer science, and STEM while fostering 21st century skills. Using simulated 3D virtual robots, students learn Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics and participate in challenging tiered missions that develop creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and an appreciation for technology. Entirely cloud-based, and requiring no specialized hardware or training, CoderZ is easy to implement, cost effective, and designed to empower any teacher to introduce STEM to their classroom. CoderZ makes STEM education accessible to all students, of all levels, at all schools and of all backgrounds.

Students deserve a world-class experience that raises their spirits while raising their academic achievement. So, whether a school or district wants to introduce coding and robotics to all students or enhance their existing programs, CoderZ brings an unparalleled teaching and learning experience.

The complete CoderZ suite of products includes:

CoderZ Adventure with LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime introduces students ages 6-10 to the basic concepts of programming: commands, delays, repeat loop, and the basics of robotics navigation using mathematics and trigonometry. These basic concepts develop through gamified mission student’s creativity, problem solving, computational thinking and more. The program is available in English, Spanish and French.

Cyber Robotics 101 is a flexible self-based learning program for students and for educators to introduce students ages 11-14 to the core concepts of code development and robotics. Students will learn mechanics, navigation, sensors, and more while being introduced to programming components like commands, variables, conditional logic, loops, and Blockly. The program is available in English, Spanish, Hebrew, and French.

Cyber Robotics 102 With Ruby the Robot, CR 102 introduces students to engineering and technology concepts in physical virtual environment which simulates situations, cases and reactions. Targeting students ages 11-13, the program works in unique environment which accurately mimics real-life physics, helping students understand things such as: what power means? What forces are working on the robot and how they influence the robot’s movement? Why it is not always worth travelling at high speeds? How to use code to program the robot’s actions? And more. Just like CR 101, CR 102 is also available in four languages including English, Spanish, Hebrew, and French.

Python Gym provides high school students an opportunity to program Ruby the robot using Python. In this gym, experienced students with background in Python programming language, can work in CoderZ editor and solve different missions, implementing coding concepts such as: variables, loops, data structures, functions, and conditional execution. This program is available in both English and Spanish.
