Impero Software and ClassLink Partner to Make Sure All Students in a School are Supported by Impero’s Suite of Student Safety Tools
Impero Software, a specialist provider of student safety and device monitoring and management solutions, has partnered with ClassLink to make it even easier for all students in a school to be supported by Impero’s suite of software.
This partnership allows Impero customers, who use ClassLink’s Roster Server, to avoid manually uploading student data into the Impero platform. ClassLink Roster Server allows student data to be delivered to Impero securely and automatically. In addition, when students log into ClassLink’s LaunchPad, they can easily access resources, while remaining secure and supported by Impero’s suite of student safety tools.
“At ClassLink, we are dedicated to providing secure, simple access to resources required by educators and students,” said Patrick Devanney, VP of Interoperability, ClassLink. “The partnership with Impero contributes to an ever-increasing number and variety of critical tools that districts can support using ClassLink. Their suite of Student Safety Tools is a great addition to the ClassLink Partner Network; not to mention a valuable addition for our shared customers.”
ClassLink is a leader in single sign-on, class rostering, learning resource analytics, and account provisioning solutions. It offers OneClick single sign-on into web and Windows applications, and instant access to files at school and in the cloud.
Impero’s flagship product, Impero Education Pro, consists of a suite of classroom management, student safety and network administration software to help schools get the most out of classroom technology and 1:1 programs:
Impero EdTeach, the classroom management module, provides multi-device monitoring, including the ability to remotely view, manage and control devices such as Chromebooks, Windows, Mac and iOS to support schools with 1:1 programs.
Impero EdProtect for student safety allows school counselors, teachers or administrators to receive real-time alerts if students type or search for keywords and phrases that may indicate concerns around bullying, self-harm, suicide, mental health and more.
Impero EdAdmin for network management allows schools to remotely track, monitor, and manage resources across a school network, remotely resolve IT issues, multi-site management and perform a series of technical tasks while users are logged in.
“Our goal is to be an all-in-one solution for schools by providing robust tools for classroom management, network administration and student safety. We also want to make sure our solutions are as accessible to schools as possible,” said Justin Reilly, CEO of Impero Software. “This partnership will allow schools to see full student data pulled from ClassLink within our software. Being able to easily identify a student directly in the Impero console can make a big difference for teachers and we’re pleased to be able to offer schools this new level of convenience and support.”
Much like Impero’s partnership with Google Classroom and Clever to create automatic groups based on teaching schedules, the partnership with ClassLink is the latest example of Impero’s focus on providing schools with convenient access to its products to support productive classrooms, supported networks and student safety.
