Welcome to the newly expanded PebbleGo suite, featuring tools for active learning, content curation features, and other enhancements designed specifically for the classroom. With these digital tools and resources, K-5 classroom educators can create a bridge to literacy while helping students develop a lifelong love of reading and learning.

Districts and schools can choose from a range of flexible options to deploy the content and tools that are right for them. The suite can be used to support lesson planning, whole group and small group instruction, independent practice, content creation, family engagement, and more.

An updated Create tool provides a digital workspace for students to demonstrate learning and share knowledge. When students click “Create” from any PebbleGo or PebbleGo Next article, they can select a ready-made or blank template and unleash their creativity using a variety of media features. With this tool, educators can empower student voice and choice while helping them deepen their learning and retention of essential concepts. Educators can also use the Create tool to create shareable lessons and activities, and monitor what students are creating.

The Connect tool includes a variety of features designed to save educators time while supporting active teaching and learning. A search tool makes it easy to find content to support state standards. Educators can also explore ready-made activity bundles for project-based learning and view trending content for lesson plan inspiration.

What makes PebbleGo unique?

PebbleGo and PebbleGo Next meet multiple learner needs. Read-aloud audio is a research-based scaffold that helps students acquire content knowledge as their reading skills develop. It is particularly important for multi-lingual students learning English and students with certain print disabilities. Because PebbleGo and PebbleGo Next serve different grade levels, K-2 students in particular get the benefit of a platform designed specifically for the needs and skills rather than have incomplete and frustrating experiences with other products label K-5 that are really only suitable for the upper grades.

Here’s what users are saying:

“I like how easy it is for the students to use. I can give about a 5-minute presentation on how to log in and navigate the program and then just let them go. After using it in library lessons, I have to "pull" them off of it when our class time ends.”

--Kathy Grupe, Library Media Specialist, West Birdville Elementary School (Haltom City, TX)

“My absolute favorite part is the Citation link. When teaching source citation, the kids can see, with the click of the link, how each citation is specific to the article they are reading, includes the web address and the date. All which they are required to use and learn.”

--Cristine Ragland, Librarian, Fairview-Miss Jewel Elementary School (Copperas, TX)
