Chicago IL – March 19, 2019 – CDI Technologies (formerly CDI Computer Dealers) today announced it was awarded an expanded contract with the Alabama Department of Education allowing it to offer more products and services to Alabama schools. This expanded agreement through the state’s Alabama K-12 Joint Purchasing (ALJP) program allows schools to purchase CDI’s classroom-ready technology including recertified devices and charging carts, as well as technologies from its partners including Acer, ASUS and Google.

CDI provides schools with best-in-class products and services to support classroom-ready tech initiatives and 1:1 programs. It currently provides solutions to 84 percent of the state’s school districts – impacting 570,360 students –through the ALJP. With the expanded contract, CDI will be able to sell its expanding line of partners’ technologies and services to districts in the state in addition to its own equipment and services.

The ALJP program helps connect school districts with vendors for IT equipment and services. CDI has been a participating ALJP vendor for about 10 years. CDI’s offerings include carts, cabinets, and accessories, as well as recertified devices, servers and networking products.

Under the expanded contract, CDI is also offering the following products and brands:

Acer (Chrome and Chrome-compete devices)

Chromebook, Windows and iOS parts

ASUS (Chrome and Chrome-compete devices)

GoGuardian’s line of products

Google (Chrome management licensing and VR/AR kits)

Higher Ground mobile device cases

Newline Interactive displays

Additional products and services may be added. The contract officially starts in July 2019.
