Austin, TX, March 27, 2019 – The Nebraska Educational Service Unit Coordinating Council (ESUCC) has selected Impero Software, a specialist provider of remote monitoring and management software for education,  as a vendor partner for the 2019-2020 school year. The partnership allows schools to obtain special pricing on the company’s flagship product, Impero Education Pro, if they purchase it through the Nebraska ESUCC, by May 15, 2019.

Nebraska's 17 Educational Service Units each provide core services such as technology, instructional materials and training to the school districts in their respective regions. The Nebraska ESUCC coordinates statewide activities of the ESUs. Among the roles of the ESUCC is to coordinate technology buys for its members and provide them with bulk purchasing pricing.

“As a technology service provider to schools, we find Impero meets the device management and monitoring needs of schools at a great price,” said Brett Warren, the owner/technical specialist of 20/20 Technologies, which provides IT services to  schools and districts throughout Nebraska. “Impero’s bulk purchasing partnership with the ESUCC will provide even more value to our customers that take advantage of it.”

The ESUCC selects companies as vendor partners based on the needs of its schools. It selected Impero because Nebraska school districts wanted a comprehensive classroom management solution that could be locally hosted in situations where the schools do not have a strong internet connection. Impero Education Pro can be hosted on site or in the cloud.

“Service agencies like the ESUCC help connect the schools they serve with the technology they need to run their districts efficiently,” said Richard Fuller, CEO of Impero Software. “Impero Education Pro helps districts, schools and teachers better manage the use of student devices. This partnership will allow more schools in Nebraska to purchase our software at significant savings.”

Impero Education Pro is comprised of three core modules – EdTeach for classroom management, EdProtect for student safety and EdAdmin for network management.

Impero EdTeach allows teachers to remotely view, manage and control student devices such as Chromebooks, Windows, Mac and iOS to support schools with 1:1 programs. Impero EdProtect allows counselors, teachers or administrators to receive real-time alerts if students type or search for keywords and phrases that may indicate concerns around bullying, self-harm, suicide, mental health and more. Impero EdAdmin helps schools remotely track, monitor, and manage resources across a school network, remotely reset passwords, and set computers to power on or off at certain times.

The Nebraska ESUCC is the latest state organization to select Impero as a vendor partner. Impero’s other partnerships include the Southwest Educational Development Center in Utah, Education Networks of America in New York and the Illinois Learning Technology Purchase Program.
