The Center for Education Reform (CER), a foundation dedicated to expanding educational opportunities, together with partner Global Silicon Valley (GSV), a growth investment platform powering some of the world's most dynamic companies and institutions, is launching edmaven™, an online networking platform where education innovators connect needs with solutions, funding with ideas, and passion with purpose. edmaven’s audience is teachers, educational organizations, entrepreneurs, and investors. The edmaven Kickstarter campaign is going on now, and supporters can make contributions to show their support and earn gifts, as well a premium memberships to the program at kickstarter.com/projects/edmaven/edmaven

Why edmaven?

Persistent lagging in U.S. educational achievement has exacerbated inequality among people from all walks of life, and has made our nation less competitive on the world stage. While there are people and organizations devoted to improving our educational systems, there is no one easiest or most efficient way to bring together the right teams to create that progress, sustainably. edmaven answers that challenge with its subscription-based networking platform, exclusively tailored to education innovation.

edmaven is AI-optimized

edmaven uses proprietary Artificial Intelligence (AI) optimization to help members connect with others who share their interests and pursue similar goals. Connections like these unlock the education ecosystem’s potential to move the needle on education improvement. edmaven is a marketplace, too, connecting ed tech companies and investors with the people, organizations, and capital they need to initiate cutting-edge progress.

edmaven uses Kickstarter to fund website enhancements

The Kickstarter edmaven program raises donations for website development: to add talent search functionality, an investors hub, and to expand the content library. People who respond with donations are rewarded with cool tee-shirts and edmaven premium and extended memberships.

edmaven has experienced leadership

The edmaven team are seasoned professionals with deep experience in education and technology, led by Jeanne Allen, Founder & CEO of the Center for Education Reform, and Michael Moe, co-founder and partner of GSV Asset Management in Woodside, CA. Allen and Moe have assembled a talented team of designers, programmers, writers, and project managers to make upgrades and maintain the site.

“Our mission is to boil the ocean; transform education, and ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to participate in the future,” says Allen. “We want edmaven to be the go-to site for people with the ideas we need to accelerate education innovation.”

edmaven will launch major enhancements in Q3 2021

The edmaven™ team will use Kickstarter funding to build the features that advance critical education solutions created by entrepreneurs, teachers and dedicated citizens.

Using edmaven is currently free for all new users who sign up at edmaven.com. Get in on the ground floor of this great new network of innovators and progressives.
