Eduplanet21, a leading provider of integrated curriculum design and professional learning tools, is releasing a new solution—Marketplace Builder—that will enable K12 Educational Service Centers to develop and market new virtual and collaborative professional learning offerings.

The core of the solution is Institute Builder, a new software component that enables Service Centers to create virtual Professional Learning Institutes containing new Learning Paths, discussions, resource libraries, and instant messaging. These powerful new features will facilitate community-based, collaborative learning opportunities for users.

In addition to Institute Builder, Storefront Builder will provide access to an updated Eduplanet21 Marketplace where Service Centers will be prominently highlighted and handle all e-commerce transactions including purchasing, registration, and reporting. Multiple access plans for users ranging from subscriptions to one-time purchases will also be available at the Service Centers discretion.

“As we face the unknown that lies ahead of us over the next few months, we need to focus on innovation and flexibility to solve new challenges more than ever before,” said Jeff Colosimo, CEO of Eduplanet21. “This new solution will help Service Centers better serve their member schools and districts in new and creative ways while generating a new revenue stream for their organization.”

Eduplanet21 partners with schools and districts of all sizes to support effective curriculum design and professional learning, and is the only licensed educational technology provider of the Understanding by Design 2.0 Framework, developed by world-renowned educators and authors Jay McTighe and Grant Wiggins.
